Every great invention begins with a story.

Mine didn't begin in a workshop or a factory.

It began many years ago, in Romania, with a little girl who dreamed of having a magical Christmas.

A Childhood Dream

Growing up in Romania, my family couldn't afford a Christmas tree every year.

Like many children, I watched Christmas movies and admired the beautiful trees filled with lights, ornaments, and presents.

I imagined what it would feel like to wake up on Christmas morning and see that kind of magic in my own home.

I promised myself that one day, if I had children, I would create those magical memories for them.

At the time, I never imagined that dream would one day become my life's work.

A New Life in Canada

Years later, I moved to Canada.

I built a career, started a family, and became the proud mother of two wonderful children—Alexandru and Laura.

Christmas became one of our favorite times of the year.

Like many families, we loved decorating the tree together.

But one Christmas changed everything.

The Moment That Inspired an Invention

Laura was only six months old.

She had just started crawling.

Every day, she made her way straight to the Christmas tree.

She wanted to touch the lights.

Pull the ornaments.

Explore every branch.

Like every parent, I worried about her safety.

At the same time, my son Alexandru loved making handmade Christmas ornaments and proudly hanging them on the tree.

Watching them together made me ask one simple question:

What if the Christmas tree became part of the family experience instead of something children had to stay away from?

That single question changed my life.

Turning an Idea Into Reality

Creating something completely new wasn't easy.

The journey took years.

I filled notebooks with sketches.

Built prototypes.

Worked with designers and engineers.

Visited factories across China.

Tested different materials.

Learned about patents, manufacturing, and product safety.

There were many challenges.

Many disappointments.

Many moments when giving up seemed easier.

But every obstacle reminded me why I started.

I wasn't just creating a product.

I was creating a new family tradition.

After years of hard work, the idea finally became reality.

This dream has taken me farther than I ever imagined.

I've traveled oversees to work closely with manufacturers and improve every detail of the product.

I successfully launched a Kickstarter campaign with supporters from multiple countries.

I've had the opportunity to showcase the Magical Underland® Christmas Tree Tent to families, inventors, and industry professionals who believed in the idea from the very beginning.

Every step has brought me closer to my dream of sharing this Christmas tradition with families around the world.
